This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles outside of Rochester, NY to be considered for this position.

Your Role: RN - ICU Stepdown

As an ICU Stepdown Nurse, you'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, providing exceptional care to high-acuity patients. You’ll have the chance to take on a variety of responsibilities, including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member roles. This is your chance to work in a setting that values professional development, service excellence, and evidence-based practice.

Your Qualifications:

• Required Experience : Must have at least two years of experience in Stepdown/PCU.
  
• Specialized Skills : Expertise in high acuity stroke and neurosurgery care is a must. Experience with telemetry, neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, and more is essential.
  
• Certifications : You’ll need your BLS, ACLS, and an active NY RN License.
  

What’s Expected:

• Clinical Expertise : You’ll be expected to provide competent and compassionate care to patients with complex conditions, including high-acuity stroke and neurosurgery cases.
  
• Additional Skills : Experience with EVDs, sub-dural drains, Cardene drips, and other critical care procedures will be key to your success in this role.
