Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our growing team in Savannah, GA . This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a strong background in landscape architecture, project management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of landscape architecture projects from conceptual design through construction, while also contributing to business development and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management activities including coordination with clients, internal teams, permitting agencies, and contractors.
  • Oversee and contribute to design development across all phases – schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
  • Prepare and review high-quality construction documents including planting plans, hardscape plans, construction details, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and permit applications.
  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior and mid-level staff.
  • Manage and participate in master planning, community design, parks, streetscapes, and public/private realm improvements.
  • Lead or support business development efforts such as proposal writing, fee negotiations, and client presentations.
  • Represent the firm at public meetings and design review hearings, articulating project vision and goals to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Travel as needed to project sites and client meetings (travel may be both scheduled and on short notice).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, including community planning, parks, and streetscapes.
  • Registered Landscape Architect (Required).
  • Must have a portfolio of professional work demonstrating a range of project experience, design capabilities, and technical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept through construction.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience presenting projects to clients, review boards, and public entities.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software:
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • SketchUp
  • Lumion
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Site and land planning design experience is highly preferred .

Pay: $105K - $130K DOE
